Planning the Camino is part of the journey. Knowing what awaits you on each day is part of the preparations.

The app for smartphones (iOS & Android) works as an interactive guide. It allows you to download the route created on the web platform, including all the points of interest you want to visit, so that nothing is left to chance and you can stamp your digital credentials* to later remember.

*Digital credentials do not substitute the official Camino de Santiago credentials. Don’t forget to stamp your credentials at least 3 times a day.

What is it for?

Carry your camino itinerary in your pocket and leave nothing unseen or to do behind. The Portuguese Costal Way platform allows you to plan each stage of the way, so that you know how many kilometres you should walk per day, where to stay overnight, which points of interests you should visit and you can also read up on the history of each place.

In addition to cultural information, you can also obtain other useful information such as where to find pharmacies and hospitals, transport and even where to find WiFi Hotspots.

Get to know the route

Get all the needed information about the camino you are taking, get to know the villages and towns and their historical ties with the camino.

Create your own travel plan

By planning your route with the aid of the platform, you can select the must see sights and monuments and add them to your itinerary.

Once you’ve created your perfect plan, download it to your smartphone with the aid of the mobile app and have permanent access to all of the information, even if you don’t have an internet connection (Offline).

Stamp your digital credentials

You can create a digital credential (does not substitute the official pilgrim credential) with the aid of your mobile app to register all of the sites you visit along the camino. You can link a group selfie or a photo of a monument you visited to each digital stamp, to later remember.
